Got into Hollywood onto the blvd after getting the Amtrak from Anaheim to Union Station downtown LA then the subway up to Hollywood and Vine. Then its an easy walk along the stars to Schrader st to the USA Hostel.
I catch up with good friend Louis and we drink some tecate beer and jam some songs late into the night. Tuesday 3rd jan i’m up a bit latter and moving slow, i get intouch with Simon Watts (my best mate Bouras’s brother) , works down on Melrose in Immaculate Conseptions Tattoo shop! We get to work on a design and 2 hours latter i have some new ink! Cheers Simon it looks killer!
That night is open mic at the Hostel , a few singer/songwriters from around hollywood and play, then Louis and myself with a percussion dude from Wyomming hit the stage and totally rock the joint. We go thru Mescalito into Common Dream, Louis sings Little wing and carves on the lead, then we finish with Sympathy for the Devil! Thanks to Hayley we got it all on her iphone!! After we jam some more out the front and get stopped by the cops around 3am!! Sure is fun to be back in Hollyweird! More latter……………………………
