“Dust Temple” opening, 54 Currumbin Crk Rd

Gavin Doniger News

Was a great night out @ the Dust Temple. John, Isla and crew have done amazing job turning it into a full on happening! Some great art works on show from Lochlan Hansen, Joy French just to name few of the amazing atrist taking part! Was a great turn out with alot of local faces there!! Live music got started around 7 with myself starting the night off with a solo set! Was an honour to be the first “Live Performer” @ the Dust Temple. Playing some of my favorite tunes, Catfish Queen, Love Love, Faded Hand,St Stompin Blues and near the end hitting into Lil’ Suzie got the crowed rockin and finishing off with Mescalito! After I finshed my set Felicity and her band got up and played, with Scotty French (French Butler called Smith) being the major stand out with his amazing flamenco guitar (were was the trumpet Scotty?), also Katia with some nice back up vocals and some flute! The night was a great success and I’m looking forward to many more events at the Dust Temple!photo-6
