Sonny’s House of Blues! One of the best “Live Music” venues around today!
The place is set up like a typical old dive bar you’d get down in the Village in NYC!
As you enter down the steps into the dim lit grotto, the stage set at the far end, bar to your left were there friendly staff can make pretty much anything you desire to drink! Tasty bar snacks (I love the Tuesday special- 2 piece Fried Chicken Coleslaw, chips and bun)
This place oozes “Dirty Bar Room” Blues.
Mescalito Blues have been performing at Sonny’s every 2nd week on a Tuesday or a Wednesday for the last 5 months!
The beer is excellent and the ginger beer is my favorite. Good tucker and inbetween bands they play cool old Blues/Folk music!
