Gavin Doniger is a singer/songwriter from South East Queensland who has performed in over 15 countries and toured extensively up and down the East and West Coasts of Australia, as a solo artist and with his band, Mescalito Blues. His raspy growl of a voice and hypnotic rhythm 'n' stomp will get you moving — tongue-in-cheek one minute, heartfelt the next, with short stories of his travels brought to life through song. Once you've heard it, you won't forget this voice. Swamp Stompin' Blues is what he plays. Twenty years on, Mescalito Blues is still kickin' — and the new record proves it.
